So OMG "The Help" Was A-FREAKING-MAZING!!!!

This Movie is Without a Doubt About to Replace Selma, Lord Selma As My Favorite Civil Rights/ Black History Movie!

Set in the 1960's, a FUGLY Time in America's History, A When Jim (you know Jim, Jim Crow) the KKK Governed the South and When Leaders of the Struggle were Being Killed.

Although you might look at the previews and say "That's Going to be A Chick Flick" It's actually not. It's a Movie That I Urge Blacks & Whites to go See!!

Things That I Enjoyed About The Movie Was The Fact That Strong Black Actress were given a chance to show their talents and pay homage to Women before them. I also saw it refreshing that in a Civil Rights Murder That They Highlighted the Death of Medgar Evers & John F. Kennedy and not the Normal Malcolm X & Martin Luther The King. It also showed the courage it took to follow your heart and go after your dream no matter what the norm is.

I laughed at the fact That Cicely Tyson is in the Movie, don't get me wrong She is a great actress but when she popped on the screen all I could Think Was "Let It Go Joe, Let It BE" (for your younger folks it's a line from the movie "The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman").  And This movie wont cause you to leave the Theatre Hating All White people but it shows you how some white people help, some followed becaus eit was the norm and some where just hateful.


This Movie will Keep you engrossed!!!
