Something about that lit caused a tear to fall, because it reminded me that God is always there even when I do not think he is.
God is very clever when it comes to getting his people's attention. God took me on the route for a reason and that reason was for me to purge things that had been wearing on my spirit. It allowed me to take a moment and release pressure that was bottling up from being held in. Doctorate in Johari's window (Goggle is a wonderful tool, use it). I have decorated myself so well that you can only see the emotions that allow you to see or know about. While it appears that the outside was okay, God wanted to deal with the inside and with my unknown self, because if we are honest a lot of us have really don't know ourselves as much as we think. He wanted to ensure that I maintained my inner peace, because I may know what I am and what i have achieved but He knows What I can Become. He knows the sum total of what I can be, so He protects me!
IF YOU SKIM THE TOP PART, READ FROM HERE ON!!!!!!
Let me paint a picture for clarity about the revelation I got from that night.
Think of a family, a grandparent (People) ask for something to drink. The parent (God) calls their child and sends their child (Satan) to get them a soda (you). The parent watches the child get the soda and the parent watches as the child runs with soda. While running back the soda, the child has no idea of what power inside the soda. Since the soda was shaken up while it is on its journey to do it's assignment of quenching the grandparents thirst, the parent takes the soda from the child, preventing them from giving the soda to the grandparent. Considering that if the grandparent was to open the soda once, they got it, with no idea of what happened on its journey it explodes on them. The parent intercedes and takes the soda from the child, and sits it in there presences and eyesight and watches as the pressure calms down because the parent knows that if grandparent was to grab that soda right now, it is going to explode causing a mess. Therefore, the parent hides the soda in his safety until the time is right! So when you seem like you are about to bust or break, trust that God will step in and hold you in His safety until you are ready to be released and your pain has subsided.
Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am weak; O Lord, heal me, for my bones are troubled. My soul also is greatly troubled; But You, O Lord how long? Return, O Lord, deliver me! Oh, save me for Your mercies' sake! (Ps 6.2-4)
THANK YOU GOD FOR PLACING ME IN YOUR SAFETY & FOR SEEING MY STRUGGLE AND STEPPING IN ON TIME!!
